Podion Touchdown Point Lecterns are compact multimedia workstations designed for active teaching, flexible learning and collaborative spaces.
Typically wall-mounted or positioned around the perimeter of a room, they provide a convenient place for educators to briefly “touch down” – connecting devices, controlling room AV systems and switching presentation content – before moving freely around the room to teach, collaborate and engage with students.
Selected models offer electric height adjustment, wheelchair accessibility, secure AV equipment storage with keyed-alike or combination locks, ventilation, integrated cable management, dedicated space for a micro PC, optional rack frames, slide-out equipment trays and custom worktop cut-outs.
Ideal for university classrooms, seminar rooms, training rooms, computer labs, teaching laboratories and simulation suites.

Configurable RU | Wall-PositionedThe TDP-AVC is a freestanding multimedia lectern designed to sit neatly against a wall, moving room technology away from the centre of the space while keeping it easily accessible to the educator.
It is designed around the concept of a touchdown point — a defined workstation where educators briefly stop to connect devices, switch content or adjust room systems before stepping back into the learning space to engage with students.
The top enclosure provides space for a customer-supplied micro-PC and supports optional rack accessories, including a 3RU slide-out rack tray, 1RU fixed rack strip and access cover (with or without cut-outs). Internal AV storage is configurable with either a 12RU or 18RU roll-out AV rack frame.
Its compact footprint, architectural style and AV options make it well suited to university classrooms, training rooms and collaborative teaching spaces that support active, discussion-based learning rather than continuous lectern-led delivery.

Unlike traditional lecterns, the TDP-WC is wall-mounted, often near corners, to place room technology at the perimeter of the space rather than establishing a central focal point.
This gives educators a defined place to briefly “touch down” – connect devices, operate room AV systems, and switch content – before stepping back into the learning space to engage students and move between presentation and group work.
Designed for straightforward AV & IT integration, the TDP-WC includes lockable storage for 4RU of equipment and a micro PC, with integrated cable management and passive cooling.
