Touchdown Point | TDP-AVC

The TDP-AVC is a freestanding multimedia lectern designed to sit neatly against a wall, moving room technology away from the centre of the space while keeping it easily accessible to the educator.

It is designed around the concept of a touchdown point — a defined workstation where educators briefly stop to connect devices, switch content or adjust room systems before stepping back into the learning space to engage with students.

The top enclosure has provision for a 3RU slide-out rack tray, 1RU fixed rack strip and a micro PC, with or without cut-outs in the access panel. Internal AV storage is configurable with either a 12RU or 18RU roll-out AV rack frame.

Its compact footprint, architectural style and AV options make it well suited to university classrooms, training rooms and collaborative teaching spaces that support active, discussion-based learning rather than continuous lectern-led delivery.
