Multimedia Teachers Desk | TDP-WA

The TDP-WA is designed for modern teaching and training environments where the lectern is no longer required to be the focal point of the room.

It is designed around the concept of a touchdown point — a defined workstation where educators briefly stop to connect devices, switch content or adjust room systems before stepping back into the learning space to engage with students.

Unlike traditional lecterns, TDP-WA is freestanding but positioned against a wall, providing an accessible presenter base without placing a lectern in the middle of the space or disrupting room layouts.

Its desk-like, open-front design allows a wheelchair user to roll in and out comfortably beneath the worktop, with height adjustment to suit different users and teaching styles.

The TDP-WA is well suited to university teaching rooms, active learning spaces, teaching laboratories and corporate training rooms, where teaching is collaborative, technology-led and not centred on a fixed speaking position.
